Implementation of land exploitation projects, including the construction of special zones and the development of industries, requires the study of the natural talent of the land for the desired development. In this regard, conducting environmental impact assessment studies is one of the optimal methods to achieve sustainable development goals. Environmental health impact assessment studies for the construction of Damghan Special Economic Zone, after collecting and analyzing information to investigate the positive and negative effects of the construction of the Special Economic Zone and provide management solutions to reduce the effects of environmental health using the Iranian Leopold matrix method It has been done by making changes in it. In this study, first the current state of environmental health of the region has been studied and then by determining the evaluation options according to the type of pollutants predicted for the special zone by construction phase and operation, the effects of construction of Damghan Special Economic Zone on the component Environmental health in three components: physicochemical and biological. Socio-economic-cultural has been studied. The results and achievements of this study in two non-implementation options (project implementation without environmental health considerations) and implementation option (project implementation by applying methods to reduce adverse effects) have been reviewed and presented separately for construction and operation phases. The implementation of the project (-23) has been estimated and the implementation of the project will be rejected in terms of environment.
