Strategic urban development planning is a new approach in urban planning and management that relies on the principles of sustainable urban development to draw a vision, formulate development goals, comprehensive and systematic confrontation with the basic issues of the city. One of the strategies to achieve urban development is the sustainable regeneration of worn-out urban structures. In this research, the strategic planning framework has been used as an appropriate method. The present study has been compiled with the aim of developing sustainable regeneration strategies in Kermanshah. This research is of applied type and its research method has been descriptive-analytical and survey. In strategic planning, there are several models to achieve sustainable urban development, such as Bryson, David, Dixon, Golkar, etc. In this study, using these models, the strategic planning process to recreate the worn-out tissues of Kermanshah. In order to analyze the SWOT table and score the internal and external factors of the environment, surveys and interviews were conducted with 15 experts and the strategies were prioritized using the QSPM model. The results obtained according to the output of the model showed that the "conservative strategy" in the strategic planning of sustainable urban regeneration has been highly attractive. Prioritization of sustainable urban regeneration strategies in dilapidated areas of Kermanshah based on the opinion of experts in the QSPM matrix, integrated and unified urban management, participatory planning, special emphasis on internal and intermediate urban development, incentive packages, support and facilities And exemptions, emphasis on neighborhood-based planning, promotion of citizenschr('39') social and economic capabilities, especially vulnerable groups, education, discourse-building, information and cultural-promotional activities; Capacity building and institutionalization of civil society are among the priority strategies in sustainable urban regeneration in the dilapidated structures of Kermanshah.
