fa واکاوی نقش مشارکت کودکان در فرایند طراحی و تصمیم‌سازی فضاهای آینده (مبتنی بر روش بازی و شبیه سازی) Exploring the Role of Children’s Participation in the Design and Decision-Making Processes of Future Spaces (Based on Game and Simulation Methods) معماری و شهرسازی Architecture and Urbanism پژوهشي Research کودکان به‌عنوان نسل آینده و دارای حق شهروندی، باید در فرایندهای تصمیم‌سازی و طراحی محیط زندگی خود نقش داشته باشند تا از یک‌سو رشد هویت فردی و اجتماعی آنان تقویت شود و از سوی دیگر کیفیت فضا افزایش یابد. اهمیت این فرایند در طراحی و برنامه‌ریزی فضاهای معماری و شهرسازی دوچندان می‌شود. در فرایند طراحی، اقداماتی که در آینده قرار است انجام شود، همواره یک‌سری شرایط عدم‌قطعیت را پیش‌ِرو خواهد داشت که هرچه وضعیت این شرایط شفاف‌تر باشد، تصمیمات دقیق‌تر خواهند بود. لذا ابزارهای متفاوتی برای کاهش این عدم‌قطعیت و یا کنترل آن، در کنار مفاهیم طراحی و تصمیم‌سازی به‌وجود آمده‌اند که هرکدام سعی در بهبود تصمیم‌ها دارند. بر این اساس، هدف پژوهش حاضر واکاوی نقش مشارکت کودکان در تصمیم‌سازی فضاهای آینده با تأکید بر روش بازی و شبیه‌سازی در آینده‌پژوهی و تبیین کارکرد این رویکرد در شکل‌دهی فضاهای دوستدار کودک است. در این بین، آینده‌پژوهی نیز به‌عنوان دانشی میان‌رشته‌ای با ابزارهای خاص خود می‌تواند در بهبود ترسیم فضاهای آینده و به آزمایش‌گذاشتن تصمیمات اتخاذشده نقش‌آفرینی کرده و کمک شایانی به کاهش هرچه‌بیش‌تر عدم‌قطعیت نماید .با توجه به این ضرورت، روش بازی و شبیه سازی در آینده پژوهی به‌عنوان ابزاری تعاملی جهت ارتقای مشارکت کودکان در فرایندهای طراحی معماری و شهرسازی مطرح می‌شود. این پژوهش در پی واکاوی نقش مشارکت کودکان در تصمیم‌سازی فضاهای آینده با بهره‌گیری از ظرفیت‌های بازی و شبیه سازی آینده پژوهی و ارزیابی نقش این فرایند در شکل‌دهی فضاهای دوستدار کودک است. روش تحقیق توصیفی–تحلیلی و مبتنی بر مطالعات اسنادی و تحلیل مفهومی رویکردهای نوین برای مشارکت کودکان است. از این رو واکاوی فرایندهای مشارکت فعال کودکان و ظرفیت‌های طراحی تعاملی برای خلق تجربه فضایی و تصمیم‌سازی تعاملی با توجه به روش بازی و شبیه سازی در آینده پژوهی اهتمام می‌گردد. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که ترکیب چارچوب‌های آینده پژوهی مبتنی بر روش بازی و شبیه سازی با فرایند طراحی تعاملی و فضاهای دوستدار کودک می‌تواند به توسعه مدلی تعاملی منجر شود که در آن کودکان در تولید معنا، انتخاب‌های فضایی و تصمیم‌سازی از مقیاس طراحی داخلی تا مقیاس طراحی شهر نقش مؤثر دارند؛ امری که زمینه‌ساز کیفیت فضایی آینده و توسعه پایدار اجتماعی خواهد بود. Children, as the future generation and one of the main groups entitled to citizenship rights, should game an active role in decision-making processes and in the design of their living environments. Such participation not only strengthens the development of children’s individual and social identities but also contributes to improving spatial quality. The importance of this process is doubled in architectural and urban design and planning, while errors in this regard entail greater risks. In future-oriented design processes, actions are inevitably accompanied by various conditions of uncertainty. The clearer and more transparent these conditions are, the more effective and accurate decision-making becomes. Therefore, alongside design and decision-making concepts, a wide range of tools and approaches have emerged to reduce, manage, or control uncertainty, each aiming to support more rational and informed decisions. Within this context, the present research examines the role of children’s participation in decision-making related to future spaces, with particular emphasis on the application of game and simulation methods within the field of futures studies and on explaining the function of this approach in shaping child-friendly spaces. Futures studies, as an interdisciplinary field with its own specific exploratory and anticipatory tools, can game a significant role in improving the envisioning of future spatial scenarios and in testing adopted decisions prior to implementation, thereby contributing substantially to the reduction of uncertainty in architectural and urban design processes. In light of this capacity, game and simulation methods within futures studies are proposed as interactive tools capable of enhancing children’s participation and facilitating more inclusive and participatory design processes. The research methodology is descriptive–analytical and is based on documentary studies and conceptual analysis of approaches to children’s participation, interactive design, and futures-oriented decision-making. Accordingly, the study focuses on examining active participation processes of children and the capacities of interactive design to create meaningful spatial experiences and support interactive and joint decision-making, with specific reference to game and simulation methods used in futures studies. The findings indicate that integrating futures studies frameworks based on game and simulation with interactive design processes and child-friendly space principles can lead to the development of an interactive participatory model. Within this model, children game an effective role in meaning-making, spatial choices, and decision-making across multiple scales, ranging from interior architectural environments to the urban scale.
