Considering the climatic limitations of the environment and striving to adapt one's habitat to the surrounding environment has always been one of the primary principles of providing a habitat. The importance of the relationship between architecture and the natural environment is undeniable. This research was conducted with the aim of developing a guideline document for optimizing architectural form design to improve thermal comfort in residential complexes. The research method was descriptive and analytical in nature, and the survey was conducted using SPSS and Lisrel8.80 software, with a sample size of 30 architecture experts. This study, using the confirmatory factor analysis technique, seeks to determine whether the number of factors and the variable loads measured on these factors are consistent with what is specified in theory. According to the results of the confirmatory factor analysis, the standardized coefficients are at an acceptable and relatively high level. Through the SEM structural model, it was also estimated that there is a relationship and correlation between the architectural form component and the thermal comfort of the building. Finally, the conceptual model of the research was drawn using structural equation modeling.
