The development of industrial cities is influenced by a set of key drivers that shape the future of these cities. Identifying and analyzing these drivers can be effective in formulating efficient strategies for managing growth, improving infrastructure and improving the quality of life of citizens. In this regard, this article identifies and categorizes the drivers affecting the future development of Bandar Mahshahr industrial city with the method of structural analysis. Theoretical data was prepared by document method and experimental data was prepared by field method based on Delphi technique. The statistical population of 20 experts and specialists in the field of urban development is based on snowball sampling, which was processed by structural interaction analysis method in MICMAC software. The findings showed that 259 relationships have a number of 3, and this means that the relationships of key drivers are very large and have great influence. Other results of the research indicate the dispersion of driving forces in a complex and intermediate situation of effectiveness and effectiveness; Propulsion clustering system indicates concentration in the area of ​​independent propellants. Out of the total of 44 driving forces, 14 drivers including: diversification of the economy, increasing public participation, private investment, strengthening good governance, reducing air pollution, protecting water resources, strengthening exports, reducing inequalities, developing transportation infrastructure, developing domestic markets, creating jobs, increasing local income, developing ports, and developing private sector participation have been identified as key drivers. In this regard, this article deals with the recognition and classification of drivers affecting the future development of Bandar Mahshahr Industrial City using structural analysis method.
