In any society, when searching for a sustainable development solution, good governance is always presented as a vital tool to advance sustainable development and is included as a vital element in sustainable development strategies. The issue of urban governance has become one of the main topics of urban research in the past few years. In this regard, the present article has evaluated the indicators of good urban governance in Tehran. This research is descriptive-analytical in terms of methodology and practical in terms of targeting. Using field data (questionnaire) statistical tests of factor analysis, Pearson correlation, path analysis and Analytical Hierarchy (AHP) and Vicor methods were used. The statistical population of this research is citizens, officials and expert experts in the form of simple random sampling and snowball. The obtained results showed that the 2nd district of Tehran with a value of 0.121 has the lowest distance from the ideal point and with a value of 0.104 the lowest amount of regret (dissatisfaction) in the first place, and on the other hand, district 16 with the lowest value of Vicor (0.021) is in the last place. Other findings of the research show that the distribution of good governance indicators in Tehran metropolis has a downward trend from the north to the south.
